Ewing, Burton passed away peacefully at home on Sunday June 29, 2014 surrounded by the love of his family. Burt will be sadly missed and loved by his wife Lois, daughter Deborah (James) Joyce and sons Steven (Laura) Ewing and David (Lynn) Ewing. Forever cherished by his grandchildren Megan, Rebecca, Josiah, Hannah, Corey, Lorne, Stephanie, Branden and Joshua. He is survived by his brother Norman (Shirley) and sister Evie; predeceased by his foster mother Hazel Doake and four brothers. Visitation will be held at Fawcett Funeral Home – Collingwood Chapel on Friday July 4, 2014 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place in the chapel at 2 p.m. on Saturday July 5, 2014. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
