IRWIN, Russell William – Passed away peacefully at the Collingwood Nursing Home on September 17th, 2008. Russ is predeceased by his wife of 54 years Irene Irwin. Devoted father of Shirley Unrau & Larry (Patricia) Irwin. Loving grandfather of Larry Jr (Pam) Irwin, Trish Irwin, Kate (Steve) Smart, Robert (Roxanne) Berndt, Brian (Melanie) Berndt, and Dan (Laura) Berndt. Fondly remembered by his great grandchildren Emily Irwin, Brittany and Andrew Smart, Brett, Sabrina, Monica and Mya Berndt. Russ will be sadly missed by his special friend Ruth Land. A private family service will take place. A Celebration of Russ' life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, 490 Ontario Street, Collingwood, on Monday, September 22, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be greatly appreciated.
