Condolences

Condolence From: Guy Tyrwhitt-Drake
Condolence: Two old friends from U of T days have departed this life within weeks of each other, your cherished mother, Sheila and my mother Nancy (Lang) Tyrwhitt-Drake. My sincerest condolences to you all on behalf of my family on this sad occasion. Sheila and Nancy would have at least one catch up phone call a year until very recently. While delving into Mum's life, I came across several photographs that include Sheila, circa 1942-43, pictures of an outdoor picnic. I would be delighted to send them to you. (cricguy100@shaw.ca)

Condolence From: Lyn Labenski
Condolence: Sheila and John were our backyard neighbours when we lived on Howard Ave in Oakville. We also had 4 children. They loved skating on the little pond in the Whittons back garden. It wasn't until I read the obit that I learned that Sheila and I were both Havergal girls. Wish we could have shared that! And that Sheila was born only one month after my own mother, who I lost as a very young adult. Life's bizarre connections often appear too late. Sheila will be in my thoughts and daydreams.
