Condolence From: JB Orange and family
Condolence: Dear Deb and Family, I extend my deepest sympathy to you all. I enjoyed thoroughly our conversations at the dock in Killarney while loading/unloading our boats, while reminiscing about Western University and during the annual Northern Georgian Bay Association (NGBA) meetings. I admired Mike for his ever-present smile, for his wise and useful suggestions about camp renovations and for his dedication to the NGBA. The Killarney world is less splendid as a result of his passing. I will keep you all in my prayers.

Condolence From: The Northern Georgian Bay Association
Condolence: Mike served as an NGBA Board member for at least 6 years. Over these years he was our Treasurer and Secretary. I believe Mike worked more than any other Board member over that time, mostly behind the scenes, to keep our association running smoothly. I have come to understand the extent of his efforts as we have transitioned his role over the last couple months. I also would like to acknowledge the support of his wife Deborah and deeply express our gratitude for the time Mike spent working on his NGBA duties, even through his illness over the last eight months. Mike insisted on continuing to fulfill his NGBA role through the fall of last year and the spring of this year. Mike's efforts in serving NGBA were first recognized when he received the Ron Roszell Memorial Good Neighbour Award from NGBA President George Hassink at the 2015 AGM. We intend to have a special recognition of Mike at our upcoming 2018 AGM on Saturday August 4th at the Killarney Mountain Lodge. I will always remember Mike for his passion in supporting and upholding our Association's commitment to preserving the pristine environment of northern Georgian Bay and to serving the interests of our members. On behalf of my fellow directors and all our members, I express our deepest condolences and sympathy to Mike's wife Deborah and their family. Sincerely, Rob

Condolence: Mike; Thank you so much for everything you have done for me over the years. You have housed and fed me like I was your own child. Both you and Deb were always so welcoming and made me feel like I was a part of your family whether it was in Killarney, Collingwood, or Florida. You are both some of the nicest and giving people I have ever met. You will be missed by many, and your smile and light hearted easy going personality will be remembered. Condolence From: Kim Eckersley-Mosley
Condolence: To Deb and family, Firstly, my heartfelt condolences to you Deb and to your family. I can empathize with what you are experiencing right now, as I have unfortunately travelled down this path. I only knew Michael for a few short years while skiing at Blue Mt. and was privileged to get to meet you at a few parties, but Michael was a true gentleman, funny with a dry wit that always made me laugh, intelligent- always sharing a deeper, more profound side to conversations, and a model husband and family man. I always loved being around him and will never forget the day he and I fell all the way down Schuss due to the deep powder neither of us could navigate!! My thoughts are with you at this challenging time, Deb Kim
