Our acquaintance with George was way too short. We very much liked him from the beginning and had looked forward to a longer relationship. Rest In Peace George.

Golf Association of Ontario/Golf Ontario
George was a long-standing volunteer with Golf Ontario/Golf Association of Ontario for nearly 2 decades. Everyone who came across George would never doubt his passion for the game, nor his dedication within it. George always represented us in exemplary fashion, which was simply an extension of him. He meant a great deal to us, and this is why we are truly saddened by this loss within our golf community. George will not be forgotten.

We were very sorry to hear of George's passing on July 1. He was a good friend and we always enjoyed his company. Our memories are filled with the good times golfing with George & Susan and enjoying many dinners with them in Collingwood, Mississauga and Surf Side Beach. He was a wonderful man who loved his family; he was always proud of their accomplishments. George will be sadly missed. Our deepest sympathy to Susan and the family.

George hired me in 1987 to work in the office at Miller’s Grove P.S. That started my 28-year career with the Peel Board. He was a wonderful man and principal, and I will never forget the opportunity he gave me.
