Kitchen, Evelyn passed away suddenly at her home at the Galleries on Wednesday August 31, 2016. Cherished mother of Sharon (Steve) Gollan and grandmother of Dennis McKenzie, Kandi (Mark) Craig and great grandmother of Brett and Abigail Craig. Evelyn is survived by her brother Orval (Mabel) Hogg and sisters in law Marilyn and Ruth; predeceased by husband Cliff Kitchen and companion Gleason Henderson, her brothers Bruce and Ron and sisters Audrey Conron, Mary (Earl) Dolson, Bea (Bev) Groves. Evelyn will be forever remembered by her nieces, nephews, cousins and her extended family John and Peddie Teeple at the Galleries, along with her many friends. A celebration of Evelyn’s life will be held in the social room at the Galleries on Saturday September 10, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. Her greatest pleasure in life was to make someone smile, in memory of Evelyn let us pass on a smile or a kind word and feel the joy within our hearts.
