Dini passed away peacefully at Hospice Georgian Triangle (Campbell House) on Thursday September 7, 2017 in her 84th year, with her family by her side. Predeceased by her beloved husband John. Loving mother of Mary, Bill and his wife Bev and their children Andrew (Sarah), James, Michael and Rachel, Tony, John and his wife Jody and their children Christine (Ryan), Catherine (Melissa), Jonathan, Jessika (Jake), Rebecca (Travis), and Matthew. Proud great-oma of Jack and Liam. Dear sister of late Dick (Elinore) Van der Vechte , Anne (Ted) Van Boxmeer, the late John (Islay) Van der Vechte, Tony (Margaret) Van der Vechte, Toos (Ben) Melenhorst, and the late Rinus (Glenna) Van der Vechte. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews their families and friends. Visitation will take place at the Fawcett Funeral Home, Collingwood Chapel Tuesday September 12, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 63 Elgin Street, Collingwood at 11:00 a.m. Interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Vincent De Paul Society, Hospice Georgian Triangle or the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital.
