Otto Anthony Seegers
Otto Seegers, age 85, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2018 in Collingwood, Ontario. Born in Amsterdam, Holland, he came from a large family including many brothers and sisters and is survived by his wife Helene, his children Norm Seegers, Mike Seegers, Bob Seegers (Dianna), Cathy Seegers, Rick Seegers (Karen), Teri Seegers, Jim Seegers (Jocelyn), Barb Seegers (Sean) and stepchildren Julie Sinclair (Andy), Robert Asplund, (Pat), André Asplund (Joanne), Michelle Tomsic (Paul), April Napolitano, (Paul), 22 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Otto became an ordained minister later in life. He was an entrepreneur - a man with many talents - and always had a wonderful sense of humor; His ability to tell a story or a joke was like no other.

He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his family and his many friends.

“Don’t grieve for me for now I’m free
I took his hand when I heard Him call, I turned my back and left it all.
Lift up your hearts and share with me
God wanted me home, He set me free.”

Friends will be received at Fawcett Funeral Home – Collingwood Chapel on Tuesday March 20, 2018 from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m.
Anyone wishing to make a memorial donation is asked to consider Hospice Georgian Triangle - Campbell House in Collingwood, Ontario.
